New Yorkers, never at the back of the queue (sorry, line) when it comes to giving opinions, will at last be given an opportunity to vote on "Customer Satisfaction" with their city according to July 24 article "City Seeks To Gauge ‘Customer Satisfaction' in the New York Sun.The Bloomberg administration is searching searching for a firm to create "customer satisfaction" surveys to gauge how residents feel about their interactions with city agencies. The sample survey cards provided in the request for proposals include headlines such as " NYC ? Feedback" and "Let Us Know!"Co-incidentally, this approach came up at a brainstorming meeting we had recently. We were thinking of offering it to Amsterdam Gemeente. So if any European cities are up for this innovative approach, we'd love to help.
