Meet the Gaugies: Nicolas Bartashevich, Director of North American Sales

Nicolas Bartashevich, Director of North American Sales, is the first employee in this series from the Boston office. Since starting with CustomerGauge 1 ½ years ago, he’s seen growth in both the professional accomplishments of the sales team and also how CustomerGauge is making waves in the NPS® market.

What are the biggest accomplishments your team has had in the time you’ve been with CustomerGauge?

Nicolas: One exciting accomplishment is that I’ve seen first-hand the evolution of the sales story and the value that the sales team offers to our prospects. A short time ago we served as an NPS tool for middle managers to track a KPI, today we work with CEO’s, COO’s, and VP’s talking about how we can increase their revenue and decrease their churn.

Another accomplishment is that between when I first arrived at CustomerGauge and now, we've been experiencing rapid growth. This kind of growth is invigorating to be a part of and keeps us working hard every day.

If you could describe your team in three words, what would they be?

Nicolas: Resilient, Dedicated and Scrappy.

What’s the best thing about working at CustomerGauge?

Nicolas: To me, the best thing about working at CustomerGauge is the people I get to work with, both in Boston and Amsterdam. For a mid-sized company, we are a diverse and innovative bunch. Collaborating with colleagues from multiple countries with various world-views allows for personal growth far beyond just career development.

What’s the culture like in the Boston office?

Nicolas: In the Boston office we like to work hard and play hard. US Sales tends to be the early birds, but we’ve also been known to burn a bit of the midnight oil. In the office as a whole, good music and good jokes are always welcome, however ringing the sales bell is what really gets the office going.

What excites you most about the future of your team and the company as a whole?

Nicolas: I find it amazing how disruptive our company and product has been in the marketplace. It’s part of the fabric of CustomerGauge’s mission to be the thought leaders and forward thinkers, and every department delivers on this reputation. It is exciting to watch as we unfold this disruptive persona that we have today and develop it into tomorrow's industry leader.
